Visa & Sponsorship Guidance

Whilst every effort to ensure the information on this page is correct, applicants should always check their eligibility and the requirements for the visa route they are intending to apply for at the time of application.

To be eligible to work at the University of Leeds, you must be able to provide the right to work in the UK.

There are many visa types which allow the visa holder to work in the UK but often there are different conditions and restrictions attached.

Whilst we are unable to provide advice and guidance on all these visa routes, our International Team can assist with basic queries and signpost to the relevant Home Office Guidance.

If you are unsure as to the type of visa you require or would be eligible for please visit Government’s Work in the UK page.
